My, my, its getting very exciting over here at MatesOdds HQ. We're now in the stages of putting the last few licks of paint on, have a few internal tests to run and dare I say... we'll be launching
Oh yes, it’s been a tough old slog these last few months but as you might come expect we're a tenacious rabble and so we've soldiered on regardless. What we have in the midst of our grasp is the finest sports betting site on the market. Big claim? - yep!...
MatesOdds.com is using SocialWeb features such as, chatting to mates, adding friends, seeing your mates’ activity, grow your network - all of that malarkey BUT we've stuffed all of these cool niceties into a sports betting context.
With MatesOdds you'll be able to keep track of all your betting highs and lows; imagine it - you'll be betting with a mate in Timbuktu whilst speeding along on the Bullet train in Japan and not miss a beat of the action (not that I know anybody, or indeed have been anywhere near either of these places, I was just…. ah you get the point)
Finally, we're nearing 500 registered beta testers, which is amazing and we shout a massive thank you to everyone for signing up thus far. What? You're not one of us - why not!? Head on over to our holding page and get your name and email in there! I confess we're somewhat off our initial wish list of 2000 registered testers but you know what…we like it nice and cosy.

The MatesOdds Team have been abducted by an arcane force of evil - well not quite, let me explain...
It all started when I pretty much screwed up the blog by adding some code into somewhere where I shouldn’t have entered some code. You see; I take full responsibility for this rather uneducated course of action – which in my defence was conducted late at night after a few too many beverages. I digress…but I feel better now that’s off my chest!
Where is MatesOdds?
This happens to be a recurring question we’ve received over the last month so I’d like to bring everyone up to speed. The site is coming along rather swimmingly, it has been a matter of design, redesign and design some more. But it’s all going to be worth it – from what I have seen the dev team have been working miracles. Ladies & Gentlemen patience truly is a virtue.
Due to prehistoric gaming laws we’ve had to make a few temporary changes to the betting engine, basically person to person direct real money betting is something of a chagrin to the powers that be, they’re not sure what to think of it – tsk, tsk - shame on them.
In essence we need to show them there’s a demand for it – and this my friends is entirely up to you!
We hope to have launch news for you very soon. And when we do you'll be the first to know. I would like to thank for everyone for their continued patience (from us & you) but the wait is almost over and we very much like the sound of that!
